Super Eagles defender Valentine Ozornwafor has joined French Ligue 2 side Sochaux on a season-long loan deal from Belgian-based team Royal Charleroi.

Ozornwafor joined Royal Charleroi permanently from Galatasary this summer for €100,000 after staring in defense at the Belgian club 17 times last season.

Despite just joining Royal Charleroi on a permanent deal, the 23-year-old has sealed his loan move to promotion hopeful Sochaux after finishing fifth in the french league second-tier last season.

The former Enyimba man has two caps for the Super Eagles and will be adding more steel and technique to Sochaux’s defense.
