Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has made his admiration for Harry Kane and Didier Drogba evident stating that they inspire the way he wants to play.

The 23-year-old striker was quoted in an interview with Corriere dello Sport, as per Fabrizio Romano. He said, “My inspirations are Harry Kane and Didier Drogba.”

Harry Kane is famous for his style of play, being a creative playmaker as well as a striker. The England Captain has scored 183 goals and provided 47 assists in 282 English top-flight games.

Meanwhile, Drogba is known for his doggedness, power and excellent finish in front of goal. The Ivorian had earlier commented on Victor Osimhen

“I like him a lot. He’s a great striker.

“Nothing is impossible in football. When you have a talent like he’s got, I think it’s just a question of momentum,” Drogba told Italy’s Calciomercatoit.

Osimhen is not interested in Napoli’s exit

Despite rumours of Osimhen leaving Napoli, the Super Eagle has reiterated that he is not leaving the Italian side this summer.

“I am at Napoli,” Osimhen said. And I have great respect for my club. I have experienced very difficult moments, even private ones, but Napoli has always been close, and this is one of the reasons why I’m here.

“So I play for the club and the team and never for myself,”
