Super Eagles forward, Cyriel Kolawole Dessers os set to complete his transfer from Belgium based team Genk to newly promoted Seria À side U.S. Cremonese.

The Striker was on loan from Genk to Feyenord last season where he banged in double figure goals in all competitions for the Dutch side and also got them to the final of the maiden UEFA Conference League.

The Dutch based team were not hell bent on keeping him after the season and Genk didn’t also want to let go of him, making him return to his parent club only to see a move to Italy transpiring.

U.S. Cremonese just got promoted to the Seria À for the first time in decades. The Italian team has been shuffling between Seria C and Seria B in the 21st century.

Massimiliano Alvini is keen on bringing him to the club to lead the line for his team as they hope to stay for more years in the Seria À.

In order to complete Dessers signing, U.S. Cremonese could pay over €6 million for the Nigerian International per his market value on transfermarkt.

Dessers has already been on target for KRC Genk this season as the team lost their first match of the Belgian Jupiter Pro League but he’s set to face stiff competition from fellow national teammate Paul Onuachu who remains the main striker.

The 27-year-old Nigerian, is reported to have flown to Italy with his agent to complete the move per Fabrizio Romano.
