Paul Labile Pogba could be out of action for the rest of the year, according to various reports coming from Italy.
The former Manchester United midfielder sustained a knock on his right knee during Juventus’ training session in Los Angeles. He suffered a lesion to the lateral meniscus in his right knee.
Pogba reportedly did not seem to be in too much discomfort after complaining of knee pain, but scans have shown the extent of the damage.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport‘s correspondent Fabiana Della Valle, Pogba could return to his full fitness from a knee injury at the start of 2023.
The 29-year-old midfielder parted ways with the Bianconeri squad and has now returned to Italy where he’s considering alternative ways to avoid the sharp edges of scissors.
Pogba could miss the upcoming World Cup for France in Qatar and even the remainder of 2022. His absence will be a huge loss for France and the Italian club.
