Super Eagles forward, David Okereke has signed for newly promoted Seria A team, U.S. Cremonese.

The 24-year-old joins the Italian side from Belgian Champions, Club Brugge on a deal worth around €10 million.

U.S. Cremonese just got promoted to the Seria A for the first time this century after shuffling between Seria B and C.

The Club finished second in the last campaign at Seria B, earning them an automatic qualification to the top flight league.

Okereke’s signing was announced on the club’s official website; “US Cremonese announces that it has acquired the right to David Okereke’s sports performances from Club Brugge.”

The Super Eagles star scored 15 goals in 71 appearances for the Belgian team, winning the Jupiler Pro League title in the last two campaigns and winning the Belgian Cup last season.

Okereke is expected to bring in the goals to help keep the team from going back to the lower divisions.

Another Super Eagle, Cyriel Kolawole Dessers has also been linked to U.S. Cremonese per multiple reports.
