Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has commented that Tottenham Hotspur must win a title this season, either the FA Cup or Carabao Cup.

He also predicted that Chelsea may not make the top four if they don’t bring in new players.

Chelsea have endured a frustrating summer window, loosing most of their potential signings to rivals especially Barcelona.

The Blues were linked to Ousmane Dembele, Robert Lewandowski, Raphina, and Jules Kounde but got highjacked of all those deals by their UCL rivals, Barcelona.

Though the Blues have signed Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling, the Tod Bohely led administration are still struggling to find their footing and could lose club captain, Cesar Azpiliqueta and left-back Marcus Alonso to Barcelona this summer with both players keen on returning to Spain.

In an interview with TalkSport, Ray Parlour predicted the top four of the new Premier League season based on the available squad.

“I would go Manchester City to win it. Then Liverpool, definitely.

“I think Arsenal have to aim for third. That’s going to be their aim. If they can keep everyone fit, one more player coming in, then they have a decent squad,

“So I am going to go third for Arsenal and then Spurs will be good [for fourth]. But I think Chelsea are going to struggle this season. Unless they make some signings, they might make a couple before the window closes and then you might change your mind.”

The Arsenal Legend has surprisingly wished Tottenham Hotspur a good season, urging them to win a trophy.

“However, Spurs have to win a trophy,” Ray Parlour added.

Spurs last won a trophy in 2008, when they won the Carling Cup (now Carabao Cup) with no present player present in the squad that won that title.
