Nigerian teenager, Yusuf wins bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games

Islamiyat Adebukola Yusuf has won the bronze medal at the ongoing Commonwealth games in Birmingham.

This is Nigeria’s fourth medal in the competition after clinching two golds and one bronze on Saturday and Sunday.

The weightlifter clinched bronze in her 64kg weightlifting category after a combined lift of 212kg.

In the Snatch, the 19-year-old lifted 93kg and in the Clean & Jerk, she lifted 113kg, 116kg, 119kg with total of 212kg.
