Favour Ofili ran a time of 22.51 to win silver in the women’s 200m event at the Commonwealth Games on Saturday.
The double-double Olympic champion, Elaine Thompson Herah from Jamaica added the women’s 200m gold to the 100m she won on August 3rd, with a Saturday night flash to claim the title in a Games’ record time of 22.02s.
Team Nigeria’a Favour Ofili finished in 22.51s to clinch silver while Namibia’s bronze medallist Christine Mboma finished in 22.80s.
