Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement with Udinese to sign promising left-back Destiny Udogie.
The 19-year-old burst into stardom on loan at Hellas Verona last season. Having caught the eye of many top clubs, the defender is ready to close a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
It was revealed that Antonio Conte particularly recommended the Italian defender of Nigerian descent to be signed by the North London club.
Tottenham are expected to complete a £21million pounds move for the teenager and loan him back to Udinese for the 2022/23 season.
In Spurs, one of his left-back mates Ryan Sessegon scored his first goal for the club in a 4-1 win last weekend while another left-back, Sergio Regullion has been termed surplus to requirement and expected to leave the club this summer.
Should he choose to play for the Super Eagles, he’ll have to compete against Zaidu Sanusi, and Calvin Bassey for a left-back starting position.
