Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp believed his team should have won the week three Premier league game with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The former Ajax coach, Erik Ten Hag secured his first win as Manchester United coach as goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford beat Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford on Monday.

Manchester showed hunger and determination to get the maximum three points at home after losing their first two games against Brighton and Brentford.

Liverpool struggled all through the game and couldn’t get a hold in the midfied. Asked if he thinks his side are yet to find their rhythm this season, Jurgen Klopp said ; “Yeah that’s obvious I will say, we are in a tricky situation injury wise, that’s how it is, he said to BBC.

“We got through the week, we have 14, 15 senior players available. We have to make sure none of them gets injured now, enjoy the week.

“There are no real options left anymore. That’s what we tried, and even with our situation, we should have won this game, I know that sounds ridiculous, but that is how I see it – we lost it and now we go from here.” The German coach said.

Liverpool will be hoping to pick their first win of the 2022/2023 campaign when they host Bournemouth on Saturday while United visit Southampton.
