Nigeria U20 female team have returned to Abuja today (Thursday) after facing much ordeal in transit.

Falconets were held up for 24 hours in the airport at Instabul. The young girls and their officials were forced to sleep on hotel floor and chairs while waiting for their flight to Nigeria.

The Nigeria Football Federation shared a photo of their return on Thursday morning saying, “Players and officials of the Falconets well received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by the NFF staff led by General Secretary Dr. Sanusi and Sports Minister representative, Toyin Ibitoye.
