Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has been named UEFA Champions League Men’s Player of the Year and Carlo Ancelloti named Men’s Coach of the Year for 2021/22.

Benzema scored 15 goals on the way to Los Blancos lifting the trophy for the fourteenth time, including vital goals in the semi-final against Manchester City , quarter-final against Chelsea and Round of 16 against PSG.

The French striker wins the award for the first time and also leads the race for the FIFA Best Player of the Year and Ballon d’Or.

Carlo Ancelloti also won the Men’s Coach of the Year after leading the Los Blancos to their 14th Champions League title against all odds.

He is the first manager to win four UEFA Champions League final and four UEFA Super Cup final.
