Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum has included five Falconets from the just concluded FIFA U’20 World Cup in the squad to face USA next month.

The Falconets had a good performance in Costa Rica, winning all their group stage games before falling short at the Quarter finals against Netherland.

The invited Falconets are defenders Oluwatosin Demehin and Rofiat Imuran, midfielder Deborah Abiodun and forward Esther Onyenezide .

Super Falcons and the USA have both qualified for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in Australia and New Zealand,

The Super Falcons will take on the USA in the first friendly fixture at the Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas on Saturday, September 3, 2022 while second fixture between the both teams will take place at the Audi Field in Washington, D. C. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
