Super Eagles forward, Sadiq Umar scores an important equalizer in his debut game for Real Soceidad.

Sadiq Umar came on at halftime for Alexandra Soloth and scored within ten minutes of his debut to draw the game level.

The 25-year-old forward was bought on the deadline day of transfer window for €20million to replace Newcastle record signing Alexander Isak who departed the Spanish club for €70 million.

Alvaro Morata put the visitors ahead in the fifth minute and he tried to double the lead 24 minutes later but his attempt was made void when VAR deduced that an Athletico Madrid player had handled the ball in the process of scoring.

Sadiq Umar was subbed on at half time and it only took him ten minutes to head home from close range to make it 1-1.

Minutes later, the Nigerian found the back of the net again but the flag was already raised for offside, cutting his celebration short.
