Ademola Lookman provided an assist and forced an own goal in Atalanta 2-0 win over Monza away from home.

Atalanta faced Monza on Monday night with a chance to go top of the league. Gaspierini’s team grabbed the opportunity with both hands to take charge of the Seria A table.

Monza started with a lot of steam in front of their home fans, but had their shots saved by Musso in the Atlanta goal post.

Atlanta grew into the game having couple of chances from outside the box and the corner kick.

At the start of the second half, Atalanta came close with their shot hitting the upright.

In the 57th minute, Lookman put up the show, finding Højlund inside the six yard box for the striker to tap into the net.

Lookman was at it again in the 65th minute when he forced an own goal as Marlon tried to clear a well struck ball by the Nigerian.

Monza tried to comeback or reduce the deficit but their efforts were fruitless.
