Chelsea Football Club have reached a verbal agreement with Brighton and Hove Albion manager, Graham Potter to appoint him as the new head coach of the London club.

Chelsea sacked Thomas Tuchel as the head coach on Wednesday morning and have been heavily linked to appoint the Brighton manager.

Graham Potter plays a possessive and intensive football and have been greatly appreciated by the Todd Boehly ownership consortium.

Verbal agreement in place on contract and long term project, as documents are now being processed.

The 47-year-old will leave Brighton forthwith and join up with the Blues.

The Todd Boehly consortium are also set to appoint a new key figure to be the Director of Football.
