Former Liverpool player, Steve McManaman has disclosed that there’s nothing special about Ajax Mohammed Kudus’ goal against the Reds in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday,

The Black Stars attacking midfielder silenced Anfield with an absolute screamer for Ajax to equalize Mohammed Salah’s goal for Liverpool.

The goal got the plaudits of many football fans who were astonished by the talent of the Ghanaian chap. Despite Ajax losing the game following Joel Matip’s late winner – Kudus was widely praised for his goal.

However, reacting to Kudus’ goal, Steve McManaman who played over 200 games for Liverpool between 1990 and 1999, described the goal as nothing special. He was a co-commentator for the match.

Steve McManaman also criticized Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez for his performance in the game after coming on as a substitute in the Champions League clash.

The Ghanaian playmaker received high praise from Klopp, Rio Ferdinand and Thierry Henry for his amazing goal.
