Mathias Pogba, Paul Pogba’s elder brother has been incarcerated and placed under investigation following his appearance before an examining judge tonight, Saturday, September 17th.
The 32-year-old admitted to being behind a bizarre video published online on August 27 promising “great revelations” about the Juventus player and French national team member.
It was revealed that Paul Pogba handed over €100,000 (£85,000) after being escorted at gunpoint to a flat in Roissy-en-Brie, in the eastern suburb of Paris, in March.
The former Manchester United midfielder has alleged that he was ordered to pay ‘protection money’ worth €1m a year, from the age of 16 when he first became a professional footballer.
He is said to have attempted to withdraw the full amount but was not authorised by his bank.
