Ekong leaves Super Eagles camp due to injury, awaits further check up

Super Eagles Stand-In captain, William Troost-Ekong has left the Super Eagles camp due to injury.

Super Eagles vice captain and stand-in captain has also been ruled out for Algeria team A match on Tuesday, September 27.

Super Eagles media team released this information on Saturday evening “William Troost-Ekong has left camp as a result of an injury cropped during the test game yesterday.

“He is back to base for further checks. Wishing you a speedy recovery Ekong.“
