Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has expressed his gratitude after successfully completing a surgery on his arm in Turkey.

The veteran pulled out of the Super Eagles squad that faced Algeria in the friendly games due to this injury sustained in Sivasspor’s 2-1 defeat to Ankaragucu.

Super Eagles drew the test game to Algeria team B and lost the main friendly to the Desert Foxes of Algeria 2-1.

However, while the Super Eagles were playing football, Musa was in Turkey receiving treatment and undergoing surgery in the hands of experienced Prof. Dr. Sinan Karaoglu, Dr. Bertan Cengiz, Dr. Mehmet Sergeant, and a team of nurses.

“I just want to express my heartfelt appreciation to Allah for a successful surgery on my left arm, Musa wrote on his Instagram page.

“As we all know, no surgery is too minor so I am grateful for the competent doctors assigned to me for a job well done. Also to you all, for your messages, prayers and words of encouragement.

“I hope to be back on the field soon stronger and absolutely better. Thanks everyone.”

Musa is expected to be out of action for up to four weeks.
