Chelsea scores 90th minute winner to overpower Crystal Palace in the London derby while Liverpool struggles yet again as the play a six goal thriller draw against Brighton.

Crystal Palace versus Chelsea

Odsonne Edouard put Palace in front in the 7th minute after converting a good assist from Ghana star Jordan Ayew.

Crystal Palace had a red card shout when Thiago Silva handled the ball for Chelsea but the referee deemed it not to be obstructing a clear goal scoring opportunity and was shown a yellow card.

Five minutes after handling the ball, Thiago Silva set up Aubameyang to score the equalizer and his first goal in the Blues Jersey.

Chelsea kept more of the ball but couldn’t break down the Palace defensive blocks until former Crystal Palace boy, Conor Gallagher found the back of the net in the last minute to break the home fans heart. Gallagher chose not to celebrate as a sign of respect.

Liverpool versus Brighton

Leonardo Trossard was on fire against Liverpool as he netted the first two goals of the afternoon.

Roberto Firmino soon scored his own brace to charge a potential comeback for the Reds with an assist from his forward partners Luis Diaz and Mohammed Salah.

Liverpool completed their comeback in the 63rd minute after an unfortunate own goal from Adam Webster gave the Kopites a 3-2 lead.

Leonardo Trossard completed his magic spell 20 minutes after getting behind with a sublime finish to complete his hat trick and earn his side a hard fought draw in their manager’s first game in charge.
