Seria A most promising young defender, Anthony Udogie who joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer but using this season on loan at Udinese has reiterated that he’s not scared of the Premier League despite all the fuss around it.

The 19-year-old defender of Nigerian descent was one of the most sought after player in the summer before joining Tottenham Hotspur from Udinese.

However, he is expected to use the 2022/23 season on loan at Udinese and already has two goals in seven appearances as a left back.

“Serie A helps you grow,” Udogie told La Repubblica as per Sport Witness.

“The months I remain here on loan at Udine will be important to improve myself further. In my head, I’m here now, meaning I haven’t heard from Conte yet.

“The Premier League doesn’t scare me. The football is fantastic and I have always spoken English at home with my parents, who were born in Nigeria.”

The young and vibrant defender is eligible to play for Italy and Nigeria.
