21-year-old Super Eagles midfielder dropped another midfield artistry masterclass on Tuesday night as Club Brugge eased past Athletico Madrid to maintain their perfect UCL record.

Onyedika, 21, bossed the midfield when Atletico Madrid played in Belgium on Tuesday night.

The Nigerian showed class against Koke, Witsel, Carrasco, Griezman, Morata and many other top Athletico Madrid stars.

Club Brugge secured a 2-nil victory over the Madridstas with goals from Kamal Sowah and his strike partner Ferran Jutgla.

Kamal Sowah scored the first goal just after the half hour mark after being set up by his strike partner, Jutgla to fire a shot past Jan Oblak in the Athletico Madrid goal.

The former Barcelona man, Ferran Jutgla, also got himself on the scoresheet after an hour of football to ensure a comfortable lead.

Griezman had the chance of reducing the deficit for the visitors from the penalty spot in the 75th minute but couldn’t take his chance as his penalty shot hit the crossbar.

Club Brugge held on to the lead and secured their third UCL victory to make it 9 points and 6 points ahead of the remaining teams who are alll on three points each.
