Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Dennis has scored his first Nottingham Forest goal against Aston Villa in his first start for the club on Monday night.
Dennis opened his goal scoring account for Forest in his first start for the club since securing the £14.8 million move from Watford FC in the summer.
Nottingham Forest started the match bottom of the table but didn’t allow that detail them as they were on the front foot.
Record signing, Gibbs-White weighed in a well placed free kick into the box for Emmanuel Dennis to head the opener into the net in the 15th minute.
After the goal, Nottingham Forest retreated a bit and Aston Villa punished them for it as veteran player, Ashley Young blasted a shot from outside the box beyond the arms of Dean Henderson to score the all important equalizer seven minutes after conceding.
Both sides couldn’t score more goals in the last 70 minutes of the match as they really failed to create a clear cut chance.
Th draw moved the home side to 19th on the table, one point above Leicester in 20th while Steven Gerard’s Aston Villa sits in 16th.
