Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen scored the odd goal in the 5 goal thriller in Napoli’s slight victory over Bologna.

The Nigerian came off the bench to score the winner in the 3-2 victory over Bologna with a well placed finish.

Mario Rui tried to put the home side ahead early on in the game but his shot went wide.

Joshua Zirkzee punished Napoli for their missed chances after a beautiful passage of play from the away team set him up for a nice placed finish.

Napoli equalized just before halftime through an unlikely goal scorer Juan Jesus who scored a shot from the six yards after the corner ricocheted off a Bologna defender.

Hirving Lozano made it 2-1 for the Naples team when Kvaratskhelia dribbled past defenders in the box before shooting the ball that was parried away by the goalkeeper into the path of Osimhen and a Bologna defender. The ball found its way to the Lozano who tapped the ball into the net.

Bologna’s Musa Barrow played a shot from outside the box which was fumbled by Napoli’s goalkeeper Alex Meret into the net to make the score level again at 2-2.

Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen scored the winner for Napoli in the 69th minute when a well placed pass from Kvaratskhelia found the goal poacher who placed the ball beyond the goalkeeper.

Piotr Zielinski tried to extend the home side lead but his effort hit the crossbar.
