Head Coach of the U17 Nigeria Women National Team has reiterated that his side is ready to give their all and conquer the Colombians in today’s fixture.

The flaming flamingos made history in the quarterfinals against USA by being the first Nigerian side to qualify for the semifinals of this competition after defeating the North Americans 4-3 on penalties.

Coach Olowookere projected that his team will make history before the quarterfinals game. He has now promised that his team is doing ‘everything they can’ to qualify for the final and earn their first ever honour in this competition.

“We are fully ready right from the day we qualified and I believed we will achieve our aim,” Olowookere said ahead of the clash against the South Americans.

“And to achieve that we must beat the Colombians and we are doing everything to make it possible”, he said.

The semi final match will be played on Wednesday(today) by 12pm WAT at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Goa.
