Nigerian attacker David Okereke scored a goal of the season for US Cremonese in a 2-2 away draw against Salernitana.

The match started with instant attacking action as Cremonese goalie Carnesecchi was forced to make a save from Candreva cross. However, his save could only hit his defender’s leg which ricocheted towards Piatek to slot in the first goal of the game.

David Okereke scored the equalizer for Saleritana in the 12th minute when Tsadjout headed the ball towards the Nigeria. To score a left footed goal of the season contender volley.

Saleritana got back in front in the the 38th minute when Coulibaly ran towards Antonio Candreva’s pass before slotting the ball in between the goalkeeper’s legs.

In the 89th minute, Ciofani scored his penalty rebound after the goalkeeper parried his original penalty shot towards him. Saleritana had a goal ruled out initially for attacking encroachment.

The match ended 2-2 with Cremonense still in the regulation zone, sitting 19th.
