Two England players of Nigeria descent have been left out of the World Cup by the Three Lions coach Gareth Southgate despite being good enough to make the trip to Qatar.
The former Chelsea players have been churning out good performances with Tomori guiding AC Milan to their first Scudetto in 11 years.
It is difficult to explicitly point out any England Center Back that has been better than Tomori in the last one year.
However, Gareth Southgate believes he has not done enough to make the 26-man list and has ranked Conor Coady, Ben White, Harry Maguire and Eric Dier ahead of him.

Meanwhile, the English manager stated his reason for not including Tammy Abraham in the squad, attributing it to the AS Roma’s striker loss in goal scoring form.
“Tammy’s had a poor run of scoring form at the wrong time really,” the manager said in his press conference for the announcement.
“And it’s not a case where we’re three or four weeks away from the finals and the first match – we’re now 10 days so form could be more important.”
Tammy has only managed 4 goals in 19 appearances this season.
However, another player of Nigeria descent Bukayo Saka made the World Cup list with the Arsenal forward proving to be inevitable.
