Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is really cooking this season as he scored the first goal in Napoli’s resilient 3-2 win over Udinese despite suffering a late scare charged by Isaac Success.

The Seria A current top scorer has now scored in four consecutive Seria A matches to help Napoli maintain their domestic league unbeaten record and stretch their lead to 11 points going into the World Cup.

Osimhen scored his 10th Seria A goal despite playing atleast 3 games less than his counterparts.

The 23-year-old is making himself an early contender for Seria A Player of the Year after winning the Young Player of the Year in the league last season.

Osimhen scored the first goal in the after being excellently set up by Elmas to put the ball past the goalkeeper.

Polish playmaker Piotr Zielinski made it 2-nil just after the half hour mark excellently finishing a ball from the Mexican Monstrous Lozano just like the duo combined in the last game.

Elmas also got himself on the scoreboard to make it 1 goal and 1 assist in the game finishing off Anguissa’s lay off.

Nigerian forward Isaac Success tried to charge Udinese to make a comeback against the league leaders but his effort fell short by one goal.

The Nigerian came off the bench for an injured Delofeu in the 26th minute but didn’t get his goal contribution till the 79th minute when he set up Nestorovski for Udinese’s opener and make the score 3-1.

Lazar Samardzic made it 3-2 three minutes later to raise the noise on the away end of the stands and put Napoli on their toes.

Napoli were able to hold their ground and maintain the 3-2 victory to extend their lead at the table to 11 points until AC Milan and Lazio plays.

This could be Napoli first Scuddetto in over 3 decades should they win the league.
