Switzerland forward Breel Embolo who is originally from Cameroon scored the only goal that broke the heart of Cameroonians as Switzerland defeated the Indomitable Lions 1-0.

Embolo was emotional and refused to celebrate the goal against his mother nation, afterall he was born in Yaoundé the capital of Cameroon.

Embolo had a chance to put Switzerland ahead in the first half but his run was cut short for offside. Minutes later, Eric Choupo Moting tried to score for Cameroon but was stopped by gallant Manuel Akanji.

Two minutes into the second half, Breel Embolo fired home a cross from Remo Freuler.

A last minute clearance from Zambo Anguissa was enough to stop Embolo from scoring his second.
