Croatia tried to penetrate Canada defense with some sweet football anchored by maestro Luka Modric and Kovacic and were initially successful on the half-hour mark but Kramarić’s goal was ruled out for offside.
Minutes later, Perisic pounced on unsuccessful clearance by Canada to set up Kramarić for the equalizer before Marko Livaja put them ahead just before halftime.
In the second half, Perisic and Kramarić combined again for Croatia’s third goal before Kamal Miller gifted Croatia a two-on-one with Mslav Orsić squaring the pass to Lovro Majer as the game ended 4-1.
