Tunisia joined Japan and Saudi Arabia to produce one of the best upsets of this tournament as the beat France 1-0.

This famous victory was not enough to propel the team to the knock out stages of the World Cup.

France already won their first two group games, making manager Didier Deschamps make nine changes to his last team.

Within seven minutes, Tunisia had the ball in the back of the net but Nader Ghandri’s goal was disallowed for an obvious offside.

The table toppers had their best chance of the first half when Kingsley Coman struck his chance wide in the 25th minute.

In the 58th minute, Khazri blazed and dribbled past the French defense to score on of the most beautiful goals of the tournament so far and put Tunisia in a much needed lead.

As the game slipped away from France, Didier Deschamps brought on his big guns Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezman with the latter putting the ball in the net in the 99th minute before it was chalked off for offside.

However, the win was not enough as Tunisia are still knocked out of the tournament because Australia surprisingly beat Denmark.
