Following a disastrous exit to Croatia on penalties in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Adenor Leonardo Bacchi , commonly known as Tite has stepped down as coach of the Brazilian National team.

Brazil were favourites to win the World Cup from the beginning, with Tite expected to finally set to right the ills of the tournament in their country eight years ago.

Neymar looked to have helped book the Selecao’s place in the semi final in Qatar, scoring a brilliant goal in extra time to give Brazil the lead.

The goal was his 77th goal for his country, meaning he officially equalled Pele’s record for the South Americans.

With just three minutes left to end the game, Bruno Petkovic strike deflected out of Alison’s reach to draw the 2018 finalist level with Brazil, to take the game to penalty shootouts.

With the five-time World champions missing twice, and Croatia scoring all four of theirs, Croatia qualify for the semifinals.
