Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen insists Napoli is one of the biggest team in Europe but dropped hints about his future with the Serie A side.

The Lagos, Nigeria born striker who was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer, said the ‘future is the moment’

Speaking with II Mattino an interview, the former Lille forward said : “The future is this moment. It is to win something important in Italy. It’s difficult to think of anything better than Napoli: it’s one of the biggest teams in Europe, it’s an extraordinary club, and it’s normal that now I’m only focused on what we have to do this season.

“Because we haven’t done anything yet and we have to win something. Then we’ll see what happens.”

Asked about his views on where he can still improve as a player and he gave a rather honest answer about it.

“I have a video from when I was 17 which, at certain times, I watch it again. And I do it to understand how the Victor of the time has changed, how he is different. I compare everything, including running.

“I have been able to improve in many aspects since then and I know that, thanks to Spalletti, I am continuing to improve. My concentration helped me, as well as constructive criticism, those made for a good purpose.”
