Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze has scored in consecutive wins for Villarreal as the Yellow Submarines defeated Cartagena 1-5 away from home.

Chukwueze started the comeback win for Villarreal in the last game against Valencia, with Chukwueze scoring the first of the two goals in the 2-1 league win at home.

In tonight’s match away from home, Villarreal faced FC Cartegena in the Copa Del Rey.

The Segunda division team broke the deadlock six minutes before halftime, trying to cause an upset by beating a top flight team.

However, Villarreal had other ideas as they started their comeback in the second half before turning the result to an humiliating score line for the home team.

Baena got the Yellow Submarines on level just four minutes after the break before Groeneveld completed the comeback seven minutes later. Morales made it 3-1 just after four minuets, completely turning the game around in less than 11 minutes.

Chukwueze was brought on in the second half and he added his name to the scoresheet in the 85th minute before Capoue added the icing in the 90th minute to make it 5- in favour of the Yellow Submarines.

The Nigerian star no has 13 goal contributions this season.
