Romelu Lukaku has hailed Victor Osimhen as the best striker in the league now ahead of tonight’s Seria A match between Inter Milan and Napoli.
Napoli are the only unbeaten team in the league in Europe this season and are on a promising run to win the Scudetto for the first time since 1990 when Diego Maradona led the charge.
Napoli have won 13 games and drawn 2 games in the league this season with their star striker Victor Osimhen leading the line.
With so much optimism and renewed hope in Naples, Osimhen has contributed his quota to the team’s success so far by scoring 9 goals in 11 games so far this season, the highest in the league. He edges his compatriot Ademola Lookman (7goals) and Bologna’s Marko Arnautovic (8 goals).
Napoli will be facing one of their toughest contest in winning the Scudetto by going head to head against Inter Milan who won it two seasons ago.
The match scheduled to be played by 8:45 pm (WAT) on Wednesday promoted Lukaku who has been sidelined for most of the season applaud Osimhen as the “best striker” in Seria A now.
“Victor Osimhen is really strong. Now he’s the best striker. We have to honest,” Belgium World Cup star remarked ahead of tonight’s game.
“He’s strong and he’s doing really well for Napoli.
“They are first in the standings. We have respect but not fear.”
Luciano Spalleti’s boys are currently 5 points clear at the top with their closest opponent AC Milan having already played one game more.
