Super Eagles strikers, Cyriel Dessers and David Okereke had a good game against Juventus but their attempts just fell short in the defeat to a struggling Juventus side.
Cremonese put the ball in the net in the 15th minute, but their goal was ruled out for offside. Captain Bianchetti chips a pass over the top of the Juventus defence, with Valeri heading the ball over the goalkeeper and into the net as Danilo cleared it off the line. Despite goal line technology showing the ball had crossed the line before the clearance, the linesman was confident that Valeri was in an offside position before the ball was scored, and VAR confirmed the linesman decision.

In the 21st minute, David Okereke put the ball in the net for Cremonense but the referee had already blown for a free kick in favour of Juventus in the build up to the goal. Cremonese players lodged their complaints but the VAR had no jurisdiction in this matter.
Chiesa and Kostic also tried to put Juventus ahead but their efforts was not enough to break the deadlock.
Dessers came close to scoring the opener but his effort struck the upright, keeping the game at 0-0.
In the 90th minute, Juventus were presented an opportunity from a free kick. Arkadiusz Milik stepped up and converted a beautiful free kick into the net to break Cremonese’s heart.
