The King of FA Cup, Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first goal in four months to secure Leicester a 1-0 victory over Gillingham in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.
After a goalless first half, Kelechi Iheanacho broke the deadlock as he fired home from six yards.
A cross into the box was headed sideways by Iheanacho and was picked up by Jamie Vardy at the far post. Vardy in turn played a pass into the center of the box for Iheanacho to smash home seven yards.
Kelechi Iheanacho has now scored more goals (16 in 22 apps) than anyone else in the FA Cup since his debut in the competition.
It was Iheanacho’s first goal for Leicester since scoring in a 5-2 loss at Brighton on 4th September, 2022.
Compatriot, Wilfried Ndidi was subbed on for Nampalys Mendy in the 81st minute to protect the lead.
