Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu was on target and new signing Yira Sor made his debut in KRC Genk 3-1 win over Club Brugge.
Genk extended their lead at the top of the table with a comfortable 3-1 victory over rival Club Brugge.
Club Brugge put up an early scare for the host under the tutelage of new manager, Scott Parker. Vanaken put the ball in the net in the 21st minute.
This lead didn’t last for long as Genk got back on level just four minutes later with defender Cuesta getting on the back of Painstil assist.
In the second half, Painstil got his second assist of the day, setting up Paul Onuachu for a sublime finish to give Genk their first lead of the day and his 14th league goal of the season.
Heynen increased the lead in the 81st minute and Genk cruised to a comfortable 3-1 win.
Nigerian Yira Sor was subbed on for El Khannouss in the 88th minute.
