Transfer News: Peter Olayinka signs pre-contract deal with Red Star Belgrade

Super Eagles forward, Peter Olayinka has signed a three year pre-contract deal with Red Star Belgrade in the Serbian first division.

Olayinka currently plies his trade at Slavia Prague in Czech, a club he joined from agent in Belgium. He has already scored 48 goals and registered 23 assists in 169 appearances for the club so far.

The 27-year-old also won three league titles and two domestic cups in his time at the club and still has a big shot in adding another league to his tally this season.

Olayinka will join the Serbian giants in July when his contract with Slavia Prague expires.

“Crvena Zvezda is happy to announce the news that forward Peter Olayinka has signed a preliminary contract with our club and that he will join us on July 1, 2023, as a free agent,” a statement on the club wrote.

“He signed a contract until the summer of 2026, with the option of a one-year extension.
