Super Eagles players Terrem Moffi and Innocent Bonke were both in action as FC Lorient played a 2-2 draw against AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1 at the Stade Yves Allainmat.

It was a strong battle between the fifth and sixth on the French Ligue 1 table as FC Lorient hope to knock Monaco off the top 5.

Canada had a chance to put Monaco in front early on in the game when he struck a long range shot at goal but his effort unluckily hit the crossbar to keep the game at 0-0.

FC Lorient we’re presented a chance of theirs, when Terrem Moffi was through on goal but his attempt was saved by the left hand of a well stretched goalkeeper.

The game remained nil – nil at halftime.

At the hour mark, the first goal of four was scored when Breel Embolo overpowered the defense before striking a shot inside the net to make it 0-1 for the Visitors.

In the 75th minute, FC Lorient took advantage of a corner kick when le Fee played the ball into the box for Ouattara to head in.

Less than 100 seconds later, Lorient completed the comeback. This time Ouattara turned provider for Terrem Moffi, who didn’t miss.

The Nigerian striker, Terrem Moffi now has 12 Ligue 1 goals, one shy of Kylian Mbappe.

As Lorient tried their best to lock up the defense, Ben Yedder got on the end of Jakobs cross to make it 2-2 in the third minute of added time and secure a 2-2 draw for Monaco.

AS Monaco remain fifth on the table while FC Lorient are just behind them in sixth.
