Head Coach of the Nigeria Women Senior National Team, Randy Waldrum has revealed that his team’s primary target is to qualify from their group stage in the next World Cup in Australia-New Zealand.
Waldrum who recently extended his contract as the University of Pittsburgh Women’s team coach is ready to take the Super Falcons to the knockout stage, a feat they achieved in 2019.
“The first target for us at the World Cup is to advance out of the group stage,” Waldrum said per guardian ng sport
“Everyone wants to get to the knockout stage, but obviously in order to achieve that, you have to get out of the group, and our focus is principally on doing that.”
Super Falcons are part of the seven teams that have qualified for all the FIFA Women’s World Cup Edition.
