Nigerian forward, Yira Sor scored on his debut start for KRC Genk against Zulte Waregem on Saturday at the Cegeka Arena to extend the team’s lead atop of the Belgian Pro League.
Genk rested their goal machine, Paul Onuachu as they played Yira Sor on the flank.
It didn’t take long for Sor to make his mark when he received a long ball from Ndayishimiye, drove into the box with his right foot, driving past three defenders before striking a left footed shoot unto the inner crossbar into the net.

Yira Sor became the fastest KRC Genk player to score on his Jupiler Pro League starting debut since Opta collects this data (2008-09).
His goal was the difference maker in the match as Genk won their 10th match in 11 games at the Cegeka Arena this season.
