FC Lorient striker, Terrem Moffi has been approached by English Premier League club, West Ham in a bid to lure the Nigerian to the London Stadium this winter.

Moffi had already scored 12 league goals, with only Kylian Mbappe (13) having scored more than him this season in the French Ligue 1.

The Nigerian scored in the 3-1 loss to Marseille on Saturday and also in 2-2 draw to Monaco last week.

David Notes’ side have reportedly sent a bid of £20m with £5m in add-ons for the star striker.

Having arrived at the French club in 2020, the 23-year-old has racked up 59 goals in 135 games and helped them avoid a relegation scrap last season.

West Ham are vying to crank their attack with strikers Scammaca and Antonio not getting enough goals this season, leaving the Hammers in the relegation zone, sitting at 18th.

The East London club finished 7th last season, but can’t seem to find their rhythm this season and repeat the last success even if they can’t surpass it.
