Tottenham Hotspur hijacked a transfer deal from Everton to sign Lagos-born center forward Arnaut Danjuma from Villarreal.
The 25-year-old forward who represents Netherlands at the international level has fallen down the pecking order in the Yellow Submarine.
With an almost done deal to Everton, Tottenham Hotspur showed interest in the forward and he immediately switched loyalty to the north London club.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Arnaut Danjuma on loan from Villarreal until the end of the 2022/23 season, subject to international clearance,” a statement on Tottenham’s website said on Wednesday.
Danjuma will give Antonio Conte’s men more firepower going forward with players like Son, Richarlison and Dejan not really performing as expected this season.
