Former AC Milan chairman and now AC Monza owner, Silvio Berlusconi promised his team a bus full of “sex workers” if they get a win against Juventus, a video published on social media showed.
The former Italian prime minister made the promise during Monza’s Christmas party last month in an effort to motivate the squad – who sealed promotion to Italy’s top division for the first time in their history last season.
Berlusconi said in a bizarre speech: “We found a new coach, who was at our youth team, he is good, smart, kind, and able to stimulate (motivate) our lads. I decided to add an extra stimulation, so I told the lads you will play Milan, Juventus, etc, so if you beat one of these big teams, I will have you greeted in the locker room by a bus full of wh***s.”
Coached by a former Juventus player, Raffaele Palladino led Monza to their second win against the Old lady in the Serie A. Making them the second historical side to win both their first two games against Juventus, after Inter Milan in 1930 – OPTA.
Reacting to the win yesterday at the Allianz stadium and also asked about his promise to the players, Monza owner, Berlusconi said : “I already received 100 calls asking me to stand by my word.” He said to La Repubblica.
Is it so difficult in Italy for the players to find sex workers themselves. Isn’t there any way to honor the players rather then offering them sex workers?
