Chelsea forward, Hakim Ziyech arrived in Paris on Monday evening in order to finalise a move to Paris Saint-Germain before the midnight on transfer deadline day.

According to L’equipe, the 29-years-old is expecting the loan deal to be sealed today before the transfer window closes tonight, January 31st.

It was reported last night that the club from the French capital were in talks to bring in the Moroccan, with an agreement yet to be found on the midfielder who has seen his playing time in West London reduced.

The Dronten, Netherlands born forward moved to Stamford Bridge from Ajax in 2020 for a fee of around £40 million having starred in the Dutch team’s stunning march to the 2019 Champions League semi-finals. But had failed to replicate the same form in Chelsea.

Ziyech had a brilliant outing with Morocco’s national team during its historic 2022 World Cup run in Qatar. Helping Morocco become the first African nation to reach the World Cup semi-finals.
