Belgian side KAA Gent have announced the signing of Gift Emmanuel Orban on a permanent deal.

The 20-year-old Nigerian attacker was signed from Norwegian club Stabæk Fotball. At Stabaek, Gift scored 19 goals in 24 games last season. He scored 16 times in the league to help the team gain promotion to the Norwegian first division.

He was also named the Top Scorer of Norwegian First Division and Norwegian First Division Young Player of the Year for 2022.

Gift grew up in Togo and developed further as a footballer in Nigeria, until Stabaek brought him to Norway last year from Nigerian club Bison FC on loan with an option to buy.
