Terem Moffi, a striker for the Super Eagles, helped secure a 3-0 victory for Nice against Monaco by scoring two goals and providing an assist away from home at the Stade Louis II on Sunday.
Despite failing to score in his first three games with Nice since joining the club in January, Moffi was determined to change that when they played Monaco at Stade Louis II, and he did so by leading the attack for Les Aiglon.
Moffi scored the first goal after only ten minutes and then scored again before assisting in Nice’s third goal just before halftime.
Although they took their foot off the gas in the second half, Nice still managed to dominate Monaco on their home turf and remain unbeaten in their last eight games.
Moffi’s performance in this game marked his first goals for Nice since joining from Lorient in January, and the club hopes that this will be the first of many.
Nice is now in seventh place in Ligue 1.
