Samuel Chukwueze, a winger for the Super Eagles, played a crucial role in Villarreal’s 2-0 win over Almeria in LaLiga, assisting both goals.

After 76 minutes, he set up Gerard Moreno’s goal, and in extra time, he assisted Jose Luis Morales to secure an essential victory for Villarreal. This was Villarreal’s second consecutive win in LaLiga.

Villarreal had been struggling with a four-game losing streak until they broke it with a win against Getafe.

They hoped to continue their momentum and secure two consecutive wins for the first time since January.

However, the home team, Almeria, nearly scored within five minutes of the match, but it was their only shot in the first half.

Villarreal controlled the game and had 76% possession, but their missed opportunities prevented them from scoring during the opening 45 minutes.

The second half was similar, with Villarreal dominating possession and creating better chances, but struggling to capitalize on them.

It wasn’t until Gerard Moreno was substituted in at the 69th minute that Villarreal was able to break the deadlock, scoring seven minutes later.

They continued to create opportunities and secured a second goal in the 88th minute, ultimately winning the game.

With this victory, Villarreal is only three points behind Real Betis in fifth place and seven points behind Real Sociedad in third place, as they strive for a place in one of the continental tournaments next season.

Despite a challenging start to the season, Villarreal has been performing well recently and may even qualify for the UEFA Champions League if they continue to do so.
